Lodz, Poland – The third edition of the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week was a stellar success as announced by the organizers. Held in Aódz, the traditional manufacturing capital of Poland, the fashion week continued to breathe new life into the city as it promoted the creative talents of Polish designers. It is also recognized as major force for creating a buzz around the city for tourism.
During this third edition of the Polish Fashion Week, the Central Museum of Textiles, Elektrownia and Bielnik – a property of Opal Property Developments – were besieged by fashionistas. Still relatively in its infancy, it attracted more than 5500 guests. Journalists representing the most opinion-forming magazines present included Elle, Glamour, Pani, Newsweek, InStyle, Viva!, Gala, Joy, Cosmopolitan, Twój Styl, KMAG, VICE, Exsklusiv, Uroda, etc. About 35 foreign journalists and guests arrived from all over Europe. They included representatives from Lisbon’s ModaLisboa Fashion Week; Italian magazine Collezioni; Americain television show, FASHION INSIDER and its French sister-publication, TheFashionInsider.com Magazine and finally the New York City-based print publication, Zink magazine.
Each show taking place during the Fashion Week benefited from live coverage on the official FashionPhilosophy website and with regular updates being posted on Facebook. In all 300 journalists including 44 bloggers were accredited. The events attracted the attention of the most important TV stations: Fashion TV, TVN, TVN 24, Polsat, TVP 2, TVP 3, TVP INFO, radio stations- ZET, Chilli Zet, Planeta, ESKA, Radio Aódz and websites- WP, alemodelki, Onet, O2.
