Paris, France - After more than two year hiatus from the menswear runways, Issey Miyake chose to make its return in its elegant flagship boutique situated in the posh rue Royale. This season Dai Fujiwara takes the Miyake man into the mystic lands of Turkey for new inspiration.

The collection sees loosely cut suits in Turkish blues contrasted with khaki pieces worn with yellow tops. Large baggy pants in synthetic fibres appear with huge vertically placed drop pockets which have been embellished with giant zippers in blue. The fabric of the pants is extremely light and moves with the slightest wind. Sarong pants are worn with sandals, vests and scarves.

More vivid colours make their way into the collection in the form of prints or woven prints as seen in some of the loosely cut blazers, sleeveless knit tops and patchwork shorts. These colours offer the needed contrast against the backdrop of the dark blue colours which dominate the collection.
