Athens, Greece – Fanny Voutsela had the pleasure of officially opening the 7 th Hellenic Fashion Week. She did so with a range of feminine and simple silhouettes for women. Black, plaids, reddish tones and hues are the colour codes of the day for the designer for her new Fall Winter 2008/09 collection.

The season promises to be a flesh revealing one for the brand as the short pants, dresses and skirts fall above the knees. She proposes an easy, no-fuss, hassle-free approach to femininity.
Among the best from the collection, be on the lookout for Voutsela’s dresses such as her number created in forest green jersey with its velvety highlights. Also, watch out for her black dress with its long sleeves. One of the more daring dresses in the collection comes in red and falls effortlessly from the shoulders.
Overall the collection is strong. Though she supports it with a wisely chosen selection of fabrics, she does drop the ball at times with fabrics that do not appear to be on quality par with the majority of the other fabrics… Here, a little vigilance is needed !
