CHRISTOPHE JOSSE [RE-]CREATES COUTURE MAGIC

PARIS , France - The talented French couturier, Christophe Josse, presented his “first” collection at the Hotel Intercontinental in Paris to the delight of his clients, friends, international press and members of the haute couture establishment.

Though the name “Josse” is not a household name known to many, the stroke of his crayon has been known the world over for more than a decade and a half thanks to the magnificent dresses and tailleurs that he created at the legendary house, Torrente Haute Couture and at the side of his mentor, Madame Rose Torrente-Mett.

This show represented history getting a new start and the way things might have been had destiny decided otherwise. No matter. Fore on this day, destiny would finally smiled upon Josse.

The couturier began the collection with a sumptuous ensemble composed of a draped dress in ivory jersey and highlighted with red goat’s detailing. Worn with a tweed jacket with matted beading, the audience went into an uncontrollable applause that nearly drowned out the music. And with that, the audience knew that a story of magic was unfolding [once again] before its very eyes.
