Paris , France - Since beginning to formally show his collections in Paris during fashion week, Jose Castro has gathered up quite a bit of steam in the sails of his fashion making machine.

Though considered to be a relative upstart to the runway game, Castro has been in the business for a while now. But his perceived relative youth is largely surpassed by the defined vision that he has for his women. In his Spring/Summer 2008 collection, we find insane amounts of experimental volume which draw us towards him. And he has opted to work with shocking pinks as he most present colour.

The collection is crafted in silks, satin, cotton, natural linen and lamb’s skin leather. His shirts and blazers are cut in a masculine way, but under Castro’s attention, they become “ made for a woman”. They are all given a new purpose thanks to draping, shorts and hot pants.

Also, one should take note of Castro’s hair accessories. Most of them are matching hats, but he does occasionally dip back into the 1940s to find headgear accessories to accentuate the hair.
