Atlanta, Georgia – Atlanta’s Jezebel Magazine marked its diamond anniversary with a celebration blow out. The party took place on Thursday, November 16th at the popular Park Tavern at 10th Street in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jezebel is Atlanta’s leading luxury lifestyle magazine. Many local, national and international movers & shakers and stars grace its covers and fashion pages. The magazine is published by Dickey Publications, which also publishes Atlanta Sports & Fitness Magazine and Georgia Athlete.

Among the many guests present at the party were the 50 Atlantan’s voted as the city’s most beautiful in 2006 by Jezebel. Deborah Norville topped that list and was guest of honor at the party. She said of the experience, “I was very surprised when I learned that I made the list. I was both honoured and humbled by it all.”

Ms. Norville is a native of Dalton, Georgia. She is the television host of Inside Edition, the country's top-rated syndicated newsmagazine, which now airs at 7:30 p.m. on CBS 46 in Atlanta. She took over that role in 1995.

Of her cover for the November edition of the magazine, Ms. Norville laughingly revealed to TheFashionInsider.com, “Being from the South, I was so afraid of what my mother would say about me being photographed for the cover of a magazine which carries a very particular Biblical name. But then when I sent her a copy, she was very happy.”

All in all, the party had more than 600 guests including professional athletes from the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros. Mychael Knight from Project Runway was also among the many red-carpet celebrities present.

The party’s ambiance was one of the best that one could possibly hope for. It is heralded thus far as one of the best social events on Atlanta’s social calendar. The beautiful people, open bars and more shrimp than you could shake a Norweg...
