January 10, 2007
Paris, France - Another year has begun and with it come the traditional promises and resolutions associated to a new year. Whether it be an earnest resolution, personal or professional projects, health or finance, 2007 is the year to make it all happen!
Over the past few months, I have received quite a number of letters and emails asking for advance on how to succeed. I’m flattered to know that people appreciate enough the things that I do in order to ask me for advice. While there is no secret or 100% guaranteed way to succeed, there are many things that once can do to make sure that he or she gets closer and closer to their goals.
Before I give you my tips for making 2007 the best year ever, I’d like to say a word about celebrities, and in particular, Angelina Jolie, Mel Gibson, Terrell Owens, Whitney Houston, Nicole Ritchie and Madonna, who with the exception of the last, happen to be among my personal favourites. The newspapers, televisions, radios and bloggers (as well as our own very Hollywood Report) kept their names in the public’s eye throughout the year, whether good or bad.
Throughout their ups & downs, DUI, drug addictions, arrests, anorexia, suicide attempts, breakups, hookups, babies and racist ranting (only Gibson is culpable of that), we all kept up with the tumultuous and uncertain lives of these stars. Many of them put their business out in the street for the press to pick up on it, while the rest tried to live their personal problems in private. The good thing about these stars is that they will continue to be themselves without concern of what anyone really thinks about them. To me, that actually part of what makes them “beautiful” people…
Now as to the advice that I have to offer to anyone seeking to achieve certain objectives in 2007, all I can really say is focus on you and your projects. There are only 24 hours in a day. It is up to you to use them wisely without troubling yourself too much as to what anyone will think of you. Look at Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Ghandi. They continued with their life’s mission in spite of the criticism from detractors. Most people get sidetracked on their life’s mission by defending themselves against the jealousy and envious acts of other. And when you think about it, you’ll find that lots of people try to tear others down because of the jealousy and envy that their own mediocrity imposes upon their sad lives. And to that list I must add paranoia and foolish pride. It is quite tragic. You must break the chains that link you people like that and push on with your agenda to success. I just let negative people eat the cake of their own failures while I push on with my own agenda. ...
