Greetings All,
We are glad to be with you again after a summer filled with many travels and new discoveries. Over the past several weeks, we have travelled to the USA, Asia and back to Paris in order to put together this, our first Giant Sized Annual! In it, you will find new additions to our reporting, more news, more videos programs, etc. With it, we are working to set a new standard for online fashion magazines.
For Fall-Winter 2007/08 fashion trends, black is back in style! The past couple of seasons has seen gold and silver become the dominant colours for successful collections. However, fashion houses such as Giorgio Armani, Christian Lacroix, Chanel, Lie Sang Bong, Francesco Smalto, Dice Kayek, Georges Rech, Barbara Bui, Cerruti and José Castro are just among the many houses heralding the return to prominence of black to their fashion collections. And it doesn’t matter if it is a pair of pants, skirt, blouse or belt, as long as it’s black, it’s in style!
While in Asia Minor, we discovered the ancient caravan serails de Sarihan located in Turkey. The tradesman and adventurer, Marco Polo would rest in them during his trips to transport silks and other goods from India to Europe. Then we made our way to Istanbul where we attended the 10th International Istanbul Fashion Fair (IIFF). There we discovered just why Turkey’s beautiful and refined textile industry is becoming a world power while other textile markets are shrinking. This month we introduce to our readers the video program, What the Buck! Watch weekly episodes in which the hilarious Mr. Michael Buckley wages a non-stop war on the madness of the world’s leading celebrities! Also, catch our exclusive interview with Buckley by CLICKLING HERE. Love him...
