Paris, France - In honor of the 10th anniversary of the IXUS digital camera range, Canon has teamed together with the creative talents of Seiichi Omino to create some very special pieces in diamonds.

The unique IXUS Super Diamond is a one-of-a-kind model, encrusted in 380 diamonds and is worth more than 40,000 Euros. It is absolutely stunning. Nine other diamond encrusted models “for him and her” have also been created for the anniversary. They are each valued at 3,500 Euros.

These special 10th Year Diamond Anniversary designer model cameras are to be auctioned off with all proceeds to benefit the Red Cross.

The IXUS range was originally launched by Canon in 1996. The digital model was launched in 2000. Since the launch of the original version ten years ago, the Canon IXUS range has been the number one seller among commercial cameras.
