Samsung Enterprises Ltd. launched its new Corby series phone during the Milan fashion week. More than 400 VIPs and fashion journalists attended the event held at Studio 90 in the famous East End Studios. Billed as one of the company’s most exciting product launches ever, Corby guests were treated from start to finish to a sense-tantalizing state of the art performance experience themed “Journey to Colour” featuring the lead colors and graphics in which the Corby is available.
The Corby boasts of a 2.8 inch TFT touch screen. It can be used as a MP3 player, video playback device or even a digital camera thanks to the on-board 2-megapixal sensor with smile detection. Its full touch capabilities brings savvy users face to face with their favorite social media including Facebook, MySpace and Twitter in addition to YouTube, Flickr, Picasa and Photobucket. With 27 pre-installed standard features, it allows users to download an additional 75 widget according to personal tastes and lifestyle. It also encompasses the latest technological advances by Samsung.
A “smart unlock” feature allows the handler to access Corby’s touch screen menu or head to specific applications by simply using the fingertip to draw a letter on the screen. Magnifying or shrinking the sizes of photos can be done with the touch of a finger. It also comes equipped with an E- Dictionary available in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, etc. ...
