Paris, France - In a surprising move for SS 2010, Masatomo has decided to throw in vivid blues into his collection of black, white and greys. We find the blue hues and shades interpreted as summer sky scenes in the suits, shirts and other pieces. The designer has taken silk organza fabrics and added them over tulle for a very light feeling on the body. He has skilfully cut his leathers into perfectos, blazers and zipper embellished short cropped jackets with hoods. 

Always enthusiastic about touches of couture, he adds hand cut flowers to his pieces. They in turn are sewn one by one onto the garments and by hand. His blazer in white with shoelace strings on the front drew instant praise from the journalists in attendance as did the long black coat with tails. Its cut is remarkable and serves as a testimony to the designers crafting skills. 

In accessories, Masatomo has created sleek, pointed-toe boots. They rise just below the calf muscles and have panels removed. 

Python skins and mini pockets, perhaps the most fetish elements in Masatomos design universe, are seen in the collection. Python appears in the jackets and blazers of impeccable cuts. The mini pockets decorate his pants in blue sky prints.
