Paris, France - Lanvin has a decidedly more edgy collection for Spring/Summer 2010. Shown at the Salle Wagram next to the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe, the show drew the attention of R&B mega-star Usher Raymond. The star granted pre-show interviews in which he commented on his love of Lanvin. 

Im just here and am excited about being at the show, said he. Its great to be in Paris and to be able to attend the fashion show of a brand that I really like.

Lucas Ossendrijver has given attention to an even sharper look for the new season to come. The cuts are done closer to the body. The blazers from suits appear at time with no sleeves. Done in black for the most part, the collection does find some silhouettes with loser fitting pants, high waist bands and pleats in blacks, multi-coloured splash prints and plaids. 

Ultra light fabrics are too found in such pieces as the trench coat. Shorts, supple pieces for leisure like the plaid tank tops and lose fitting pants banded at the ankles serve notice that Lanvin is also a youthful brand as well as the brand for businessmen. 

As for accessories we find micro-thin belts, tennis style hats, sandals, pointed shoes colour rich hues. Lots eyewear is also found in the collection. The mixing of classic cuts and sportswear made for a very energetic collection.
