WINTLE IS ELEGANT & INNOVATIVE FOR SPRING 2010

Paris, France - It is an elegant setting in the gardens of the Hotel Ritz in Paris where Jason Wintle chose to unveil his new Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Axed in modernity and drenched in Saville Row tailoring, the new collection does too have some surprising innovations as well.
Upon entering the gardens, one is immediately confronted by three imposing silhouettes done in degradations of pink, blue and grey. These three are more suited to the needs of cooler spring evenings due to their heavier fabrics. However, it’s the pieces and silhouettes created for true mid-summer weather that are the most eye-catching. Among them, Wintle has created an ensemble in which the blazer is created in a silk organza blend. It maintains its forms thanks to the linen fibres integrated into the innovative blend. Light and air moves through it and allows for summer comfort and styling.
Jason Wintle also offers other solutions for dressing in a dapper manner, but without feeling the heat of summer. First he has created a suit that looks as if one would be wearing a suit blazer on top of another suit blazer. In fact, the look is created by cutting the outer elements of blazer so that the fronts cannot be joined. Then a second fabric is added in a different colour and that is what gives the appearance of two blazers.
Lastly, Wintle has created another innovative silhouette where on believes the suit is in three pieces. Like the double blazer look described above, he has cut the blazer so that the two sides cannot be joined together. Then he added to them what looks to be a vest. This is a one piece combination that when worn with the elegant trousers, nearly gives the impression of a very fancy jumpsuit.
