Paris, France - Spring/Summer 2010 sees Antonio Marras take the Kenzo men’s collection to the deserts on the next stop of his travels. They fabrics are natural cottons, linens and blends of the two with some knitwear thrown in for good measure. Other ultra light fabrics are too included in order to round things out.

We find serpent skins in the bags and perfecto jackets. There are rugged short boots and sandals in green, black, brown, etc. Hats are included in the collection and appear in various shapes, sizes and materials. The pants are not slim to the body, save the shortened leggings worn under shorts in layered looks. Other than that, the pants all rise above the ankles as with the grand trends of the day. Some have cuffs but they do all rise above the knees.

“The colours in the collection are white like we would see as if they were washed out by the wind”, said Antonio Marras before the start of the show. They collection includes beige, tan, white, grey, khaki”, said he.

Prints also colour the suits, the cotton jersey long cardigans, the jackets, etc. Some prints include deserts scenes or are reinterpretations of camouflage, something seen in his recent collection for women back in March.
