Paris, France – Famed British singer, Boy George, 47, will have to stand trial in London on accusations of holding a Norwegian model prisoner in his home and beating him naked.

According to Auden Calsen, 29, he met the singer over the internet and was hired by him to pose nude for photos. Though Boy George accused him of snooping around his computer, Calsen returned for a second photo shoot in April 2007. Once naked, Boy George, assisted by an accomplice, allegedly beat Calsen with chains before proceeding to attach him to a hook.

“George slapped, beat me, hit me with his fist and screamed at me”, complains Calsen who also said that he escaped into the street wearing nothing but his underwear.

Boy George, whose real name is George Allan O'Dowd, first rose to fame in 1982 as the lead singer of the world renowned Culture Club pop group. His androgynous beauty, uncommon glam fashion sense and hauntingly compelling voice propelled him and the group to international fame. The group signed such hits as Time, I’ll Tumble 4 Ya, Karma Chameleon, Church of the Poisoned Mind, Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, Miss Me Blind, and It’s A Miracle. Then drug abuse and heroine addiction caused the group to break apart in 1985.

Boy George had some light success as solo artist, but nothing that could parallel his previous success with the group. As such, he is perhaps most famous for his song, The Crying Game.

In 2006, he was convicted in New York for other crimes. He refutes all of the current charges laid against him by Auden Calsen.
