Beverly Hills , CA - It’s official! Hugh Jackman has succeeded Matt Damon as People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive”.

As always the winner beat out a list of Hollywood heartthrobs and some surprising newcomers for the ultimate title. The 6’2 tall Australian arrived ahead of Daniel Craig who finished at N°2, and who is the current bearer of the mantra of Agent 007.

Jackman, who recently turned 40 in October has been married for 12 years and is the happy father of two for whom he regularly makes pancakes and sings ballads.
