Paris, France - This year alone Michelle Obama has made the best dressed lists at both People and Vanity Fair magazines (SEE OUR RELATED ARTICLE). Her practicality, reasonable budgeting and overall fashion sense is what landed her name next to some of the world’s most notoriously fashionable names including actress Renée Zellweger, rocker Lenny Kravitz, Ivanka Trump and French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

However, Mrs. Obama’s choice of garments on election night confused many and raised lots of eyebrows.
When Michelle Obama and her two daughters joined president-elect Barack Obama on stage, Mrs. Obama’s choice of a Narciso Rodriguez creation caused most to take a second look. In disbelief, fashion pundits tried to make heads or tales of the black dress splashed with red.

Very unflattering to the new First Lady’s figure, it significantly brought width to her hips, yet somehow managed to dramatically reduce the top half of her body thus causing her bust to look extremely disproportionate. In all it made for a very awkward look. Were she in Paris , we would have screamed “Off with her stylist’s head!”
