Paris , France – Alber Elbaz has created a new collection for Lanvin that largely goes against the notion that a global financial crisis could soon and undoubtedly affect the purchasing power of the women that the house’s lines target. Rich in every aspect possible, the collection forecasts a swift recovery among the world financial markets and big sales for the house.

For Spring/Summer 2009 Elbaz has created dresses and tops with voluminous accents around the shoulders and often times around the hips. Colours such as green, peach, black, soft blue, red, fuchsia, aqua and dark prints join forces with the designer’s crystals, draping and pleats to create exquisite skirts, cocktail dresses, gowns and suits.

This collection is indeed sumptuous and calls out to women of particularly discriminating tastes and chic. This season, the Lanvin woman will also enjoy beautiful handbags, embroideries and crystal encrusted eyewear and heels with lots of bling.
