Paris , France – Collettte Dinnigan wasted no time in getting to the business of presenting her warrior woman inspired Spring/Summer 2009 collection. She began her fashion show with a heavily beaded mini-dress in black and silver, followed by a long flowing dress perfect for the occasion of summer parties.

Her ensemble of a matching pants and vest is energetic with its heavily beaded vest front. This provides for a splendid contrast with the soft silk dress in olive silk, the crocheted shorts in olive green and the white skirt with tropical plant like prints in olive.

For cocktail time, Dinnigan has struck all the right notes with her little black dresses. Beyond that, she has also created leg-hugging Capri-pants which fall only inches below the knees. This look is a must have as Dinnigan has completed it with a banded collar sleeveless top in large black sequins. This look is finished of with a bow around the neck for a very evening feel. Youthful, it is also the proper response for the girl who is not in the mood to wear frilly skirts.

It seems that Collette Dinnigan’s warrior heroine for this collection is also concerned with making the right impression on men. As she steps out on the town, she trades in her armoured plating for sequins. These sequins appear in silver on one dress and make a dynamite impression. The true beauty of this warrior woman is her versatility expressed by Dinnigan. Either in a short layered dress in white with purple and brown savage butterfly prints or in white printed chiffon dress or in a long off-white dress trimmed in black, she is not afraid to show remnants of her vulnerability.
