St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands – CBN TV Channel 51 operated by Caribbean Broadcast Network (BVI) Ltd, today, announced its partnership with Virgin Islands Fashion Week 2008. Operating out of Tortola, British Virgin Islands , CBN TV offers 24 hours of authentic programming and is broadcasted on Channel 51 on the BVI local cable system. The Station offers a variety of programs including Local Events, Regional Productions and International.

CBN Television has been successful in developing new partnerships with other regional and international broadcast networks to include: Carib Vision, RETV, Hype-TV and Windies International Network. In the deal with the fashion week, it will provide coverage for broadcast on its own Channel 51. It will also provide video footage to regional channels for broadcast.

CBN Television also has established partnerships with Broadcasters in Anguilla , Nevis, St. Kitts and St. Maarten. Other British Virgin Islanders participating in this year’s event include swimsuit designer, Kristin Frazer of Trefle Swimsuit, who will present her 2008 fall collection. BVI models Nicolas Laurac and Cordalia Lettsome will also form part of the BVI contingent. Virgin Islands Fashion Week will take place from October 9 -13 th , 2008 and will feature a number of activities to highlight the Caribbean fashion industry. The main event, Caribbean Catwalk Runway Show, will be on Sunday, October 12 th from 6 p.m. at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort and Spa followed by the All White Affair- Beach Party and Swimsuit Fashion Show on Monday, October 13 th at John Brewer’s Bay.
