Milan , Italy – Italian luxury brand has announced that it will close New York fashion week with a very special event hosted in its new flagship store in Mercer Street , Soho . Singer Patti Smith will take part in the opening.

Ennio Capasa, Creative Director of the Rock&Roll inspired brand is opening the doors to the legendary singer, artist and poet. Smith will be showing a preview of Dream of Life, the documentary on her life filmed over 11 years by photographer and film director Steven Sebring.

During the evening, Patti Smith will also entertain Ennio Capasa’ guests with a full performance including a reading of texts taken from the book Patti Smith: Dream of Life as well as words from her favourite poets.

The brand new Costume National store is the perfect location for the performance: the space has an almost fluid atmosphere suggested by the mirrored anthracite resin floor, the shiny surfaces of the white and chrome walls and the various reflecting furnishing fixtures

Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Vincent Gallo are some of the VIPs expected at the event.
