London , UK - Full skirted volume and a playful take on colour were the order of the day for Markus Lupfer, at Armand Basi. Shapes and prints, which looked like large puddles of paint, had cartoonish charm but those silhouettes - high waisted bubble skirts, peplum brocade jackets took some skilful execution. Shoes - Victorian style heels in pink suede studded in crystal - suited the mood.

Richard Nicoll continued themes from last season, with a collection that focused on structure, form and layering. He showed variations of the tux, and some very commercial cocktail dresses, short and tight, decorated in strands of wraparound ribbons. His final gesture? Huge, detachable sweeping bows.

Henry Holland took a break from rhyming slogans this season and turned instead to loud, purple tartan. A collaboration with Savile Row tailor, Norton & Sons, and accessorised with Sporrans, courtesy of Katie Hiller. Holland has a dream team at his disposal; including of course, best friend Agyness Deyn , who opened and closed his show in a tiered purple plaid bridal gown, complete with veil, eye patch, and antler headband.

With Henry Holland breaking free of the Fashion East line up, it was left to David Saunders of David David, Noki and Louise Gray. His first ever catwalk show didn't disappoint with front row fans Alice Delall, Pixie Geldof and gang whooping over his graphic jumpsuits, raincoats and slate grey denim.

Roksanda Ilincic fine-tuned her fanciful style with dresses that mesmerized - floor sweeping gowns were layered with huge sheets of silk folded like Vienetta ice-cream, or came with jackets that kicked up at the back with an eruption of ostrich feathers.
