Paris, France - On Saturday, September 1, Elite Models staged the semi-finals competition for the French national stage of the 2007 Elite Model Look of the Year competition.
For this year’s competition more than 2000 girls aged 14 to 19 from around metropolitan France and its overseas departments were screen in preliminary competitions and cut down to 100. Then those 100 were narrowed down to eleven contestants. The competition took place at the Galeries des Galeries at the French department Les Galeries Lafayette
Those selected for the next stage are as follows: Adama DIALLO, 16; Adèle PARVY, 15;
Anaïs PONTIER, 17; Camille RODRIGUEZ, 14; Carmen BURDIN, 14; Jennifer MESSELIER, 16; Marion 14; Lorène RENARD, 15; Morgan EDWARDS, 14; Morgane MEZARD, 15; and Sophie CHABOT, 16.
The eleven contestants will compete in the final of the French nationals at the Ritz Hotel on October 9th. They will be joined by two other contestants who were previously selected from competitions held in the French overseas departments. The winner(s) of the national competition will go on to compete in the international finals in Istanbul, Turkey, where they will compete against the finalists from 50 other countries.
