Atlanta, USA - Fashion Insider TV has announced the conclusion of a license deal for a second version of its FASHION INSIDER television magazine to be broadcast bye the Canadian cable network, Out TV.
Out TV is the world’s first GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gendered) television network to broadcast coast to coast, 24 hours a day, with news, information and entertainment programs. Canadian owned and operated, OUT TV offers theme-oriented popular movies and comedies from around the world including international dramas, arts programming, biographies and variety shows.
“This represents the first license deal that Fashion Insider TV has ever awarded to another television channel or cable network. We are very excited about this”, says FITV producer, Golda Steinberg. “This also represents a wonderful opportunity for both our companies as we each produce quality programming for our audiences.”
Tentatively titled MEN’S FASHION INSIDER, this licensed version will focus specifically on men’s fashion, beauty and luxury goods. Some episodes will spotlight the creativity from the haute couture runways.
The working title for the licensed program is Men’s Fashion Insider. OUT TV will begin broadcasting the show in September 2007 just in time for the heavy “September Sweeps” period, when networks around the world traditionally launch new shows as well as see the return of established staples in their programming grid.
Fashion Insider TV will continue to produce the US version of FASHION INSIDER, while Out TV editors will work closely with the show’s executive producer, Marcellous L. Jones, for the Canadian version. Jones, will continue to appear in both editions of the show.
